We are a new clinic and we plan to be able to take all major insurance plans.  However, it takes time for us to become credentialed with each insurance company.  Please check with us as this will change over the next few months.

You should bring your ID card and your insurance card.  

Also, bring any diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRI results, CT Scans etc that you wish to share.  

Your evaluation on the first visit will be an hour.  You should arrive 20 minutes prior to your appointment time to fill out paperwork unless you have it filled out prior to your arrival from the website.  Subsequent PT visits after that will be an hour also unless you have to leave early due to a prior appointment.

OT evaluations and treatment may be less than an hour in some cases. Check with your therapist.

We will discuss how you got injured, how long you have been hurting, your pain location, movements/positions that make your pain better and worse.  This information will help develop a hypothesis about what is wrong and how to help.  Then, we will examine the body part(s) to verify the hypothesis.  Finally, we may provide a manual treatment and/or an exercise to address the dysfunction.

Dress comfortable with loose fitting clothing.  Try to wear or bring clothing that it is easy for us to examine the body part(s) that we need to look at.  For example, it is difficult to examine a back if a woman is wearing a dress.  It is difficult to examine a knee if you are wearing jeans.

 You should set up your appointments so that you can get the times and dates that work best with your schedule.  You may have some soreness afterwards for 1 or 2 days.  This is normal especially if you are out of shape or you have been having pain for a long time.  

You should call as soon as you think you can’t make your appointment.  If we can reschedule you for later the same day, we will try to do that.  If not, perhaps we can reschedule you for later that week.  If there are too many cancels or no shows, it may not be a good time for you to be in therapy.

 There will be a $25 charge for no show appointments.

No, not yet.  If English is not the primary language for a patient, we ask that they bring an interpreter with them for their first appointment and reevaluations.
